WPS (TFL Claims Contractor)
Wisconsin Physicians Service — the company that processes TRICARE For Life secondary claims.

What is it?
Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS) is the DHA contractor that administers TFL claims. After Medicare processes a claim, it electronically 'crosses over' to WPS, which calculates the TFL secondary payment.
Why does it matter?
If you ever need to ask about a TFL payment, dispute a denial, or check claim status, WPS is who you call (1-866-773-0404).
When you'll encounter it
On TFL Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), provider billing questions, or appeals.

Common misconceptions
- "I have to file TFL claims myself." — No. Claims auto-crossover from Medicare to WPS in most cases. Only file manually for overseas or non-crossover claims.
