The process
- Draft. An editorial writer drafts the page from official handbooks and government sites.
- Source map. Each factual claim is mapped to a specific official source.
- Specialist review. A licensed insurance specialist with daily exposure to Medicare and TFL reads the draft for accuracy and missing nuance.
- Compliance review. Copy is reviewed against CMS marketing rules for any page that touches Medicare Advantage.
- Publication. A visible Last Reviewed date is set; the page enters our annual review schedule.
Update triggers
- A new edition of the Medicare & You or TFL Handbook.
- A CMS or DHA rule change.
- A reader-reported correction we verify.
- Our scheduled annual review.
